The federal government passed regulation earlier this year to recognize September 30, 2021 as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Marking this day is important to acknowledge the injustices and systemic racism Indigenous Peoples encounter, honour survivors, and raise awareness of the tragic legacy of residential schools in Canada. Global Currency Services employees will join fellow Canadians in observation of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and therefore our offices will be closed to allow for reflection, education, and community involvement.
