SPECIAL NOTICE AMID COVID-19 PANDEMIC:
To our valued clients,
July 15, 2020 – We at Global Currency Services have continually been monitoring and measuring our response and operations in the face of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We have based our decisions on information provided by our provincial and federal governments and our public health authorities. After careful consideration, Global Currency Services has started to begin our reopening plan. While travel remains restricted, we are going to continue to operate with reduced hours and products/services. We are happy to announce that our lobby will be open for limited numbers of clients (to allow for social distancing) and we will start conducting some cash transactions again as of July 15, 2020. We have established new organizational rules to ensure we are best meeting our clients' needs while ensuring everyone's health and safety in these unprecedented times.
Conditions for Lobby Entry:
1. Face Coverings
Pursuant to Section 22 of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.H.7 (effective June 12, 2020)
Please wear a face covering inside our offices at all times, unless there is a medical reason which inhibits your ability to breathe.
If you are accompanied by a child under the age of five who cannot be persuaded to wear a mask (or any child under the age of two years), they are also not required to wear a face covering. If you do not currently have a face covering, limited numbers are available on a table in the lobby along with hand sanitizer. We ask that during future transactions you bring your own face covering. Face coverings should cover the mouth, nose, and chin ensuring a barrier that limits the transmission of respiratory droplets.
2. Experiencing Symptoms:
If you are experiencing any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, please follow guidelines to self isolate for 14 days immediately.
Symptoms include but are not limited to fever, dry cough, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, chest pain or pressure, loss of speech or movement, aches and pains, loss of taste or smell. If you require a transaction while experiencing symptoms, we ask you to please call our store (519) 763-7330 and one of our staff members would be happy to help accommodate your transaction request while maintaining your self-isolation.
If you have recently travelled, please follow guidelines to self-isolate for 14 days immediately following your arrival.

4. Transaction Priority:
We ask you to consider the urgency of transactions initiated using our services at this time.
As international travel is widely restricted, demands for foreign cash are expected to be low. If you require a cash transaction, please personally assess the priority of conducting this transaction now. As we are operating with limited staff, currencies, and operating hours, we wish to ensure that clients who require immediate transactions to complete essential business operations and priority travel can be accommodated.
